ReturnParameterMembership SysML

class ReturnParameterMembership

Implementation of ReturnParameterMembership defined in the KerML specification.

Specification:

A ReturnParameterMembership is a ParameterMembership that indicates that the owned_member_parameter is the result parameter of a Function or Expression. The direction of the owned_member_parameter must be out.

For language description, see section 7.4.8 of the KerML specification. For more details on the model, see section 8.3.4.7.8 of the KerML specification.

Attributes

STD: tuple[type[syside.ReturnParameterMembership], ...] = Ellipsis

All subtypes of ReturnParameterMembership according to the specification.

This is needed because the implementation does not use multiple inheritance like the standard metamodel. However, all would-be inherited attributes are implemented explicitly on classes in ReturnParameterMembership.Std.

When working with standard metamodel types, use:

if isinstance(element, ReturnParameterMembership.STD):
    ...

For type hints, instead use ReturnParameterMembership.Std:

def function(element: Element) -> ReturnParameterMembership.Std:
    ...

Note that ReturnParameterMembership.Std is only defined during TYPE_CHECKING, depending on the Python version used either from __future__ import annotations or def function(...) -> "ReturnParameterMembership.Std" may be required to ensure that annotations are resolved lazily without an actual object present.
