Description

Style options applied to a text segment.

This is a temporary structure and can only be used in the scope it was received in. Otherwise, crashes are likely. For example:

s: SegmentStyle | None = None
def scope(text: str, style: SegmentStyle) -> tuple[str, str]
    nonlocal s
    s = style
    return "", ""

...

r = s.reference # undefined behaviour
